Sunday Evening Thoughts…

I am expecting an encounter every weekend and God is not disappointing. God moved mightily in a BUNCH of peoples lives this weekend and I’m blown away by His love. Here are some of the highlights:

  • There was great ministry time at every service.  We sensed the LOVE OF GOD in a special way at each gathering.
  • God reminded us that in Romans 8:38 the Bible says that Paul was “persuaded” that NOTHING could separate us from the love of God.  To be persuaded means to be “convinced or won over”.  Even when we struggle to understand God’s love HE WILL WIN US OVER when we have an open heart.
  • God wants us to live a blessed life and the ingredients are ACTION, TRUTH and LOVE.
  • Did I mention that I LOVE our Young at Heart ministry?  They are an amazing group of seasoned saints who love to serve and pray.  They are an example to ALL of us.
  • We will either learn lessons through our own painful experiences or through someone else’s.  It’s MUCH better to learn from others!
  • The Body of Christ works together when we Walk Worthy of our calling GENERATIONALLY, FUNCTIONALLY and RELATIONALLY.
  • WORSHIP was amazing at all the services.  Saturday night was especially sweet with some altar ministry time during worship.  I LOVE IT when God moves like that.
  • Today was the last day of services at Oly High.  If you haven’t hear the details you can find them here.
  • When we all do our part the WHOLE BODY benefits.  We need each other!
  • IF YOU HAVE BEEN ATTENDING THE OLY HIGH SERVICE, you’ll find the most open seats on Saturday Night and Sunday at 9am.  Regal and the 11am service are packed out, so if you move to one of those services come early and be FRIENDLY!
  • IF YOU CAN ATTEND THE Sat 5pm or Sun 9am service, DO IT!  It will make space of everyone who is relocating.
  • PRAISE GOD WE ARE A PART OF A CHURCH WITH MORE PEOPLE THAN SEATS!  It’s not convenient, but it’s a sign of people getting their lives changed by the power of God!  There are plenty of churches around the country with plenty of EMPTY SEATS and no PEOPLE!  We have the opposite problem-I’ll take that problem any day of the week!
  • LAST-I’M GOING ON VACATION!  I can’t wait to turn my phone off and hang with my family for a week.  They deserve it and I need it!  Thank you Jesus!  Pray for us, I’ll be praying for you.
