Sunday Night Reflections

It appears that Summer has begun to settle in upon the NW.  The bbq’s are out and the days are warming up.  It was a grace filled weekend for the Living Water Family.  Some highlights:

  • This was the first weekend that our Olympia High Campus received the message via video.  You can read more about WHY the switch was made at Pastor Terry’s blog.
  • Because I didn’t have to make the trip to Oly to preach in person, I got to spend some time with the 9am crowd.  IT WAS GREAT!
  • Eric Williams, the Interim Campus Pastor at the Rochester Foursquare church, is on vacation so Pastor Joel hosted the service at that campus.   I’m sure they were blessed. Pastor Joel is a GREAT pastor who really Loves God and Loves People!
  • We received a special offering for our Youth to go to summer camps this weekend.  It’s evident that the economy is effecting a lot of people, yet the church gave with generosity.
  • I was SUPER bummed that the USA lost on Saturday.  Just ask my wife, she wasn’t sure if I was going to make it to preach!
  • I preached about Grace and I pray that people walked away with a new or renewed assurance of God’s grace in and for their lives.
  • DON’T FORGET.  Pastor Burt will be in town for the Wednesday Night Encounter.  He will take some time to bring us up to speed on how the Lord has been using his leadership and influence to help guide the Foursquare Church.

That’s a rap.  See you Wednesday at the Encounter Night.  Spread the word!
