Sunday Evening Thoughts…
This was a great Father’s Day weekend! After 6 great services and a relaxing time with some friends this afternoon I’m ready to wind down and crash. Here are some of my highlights from the weekend.
-It was a great weekend to honor dads…and dads need to be honored. We also took time to pray for men who may not be biological dads, but have still played the role of “father” in somebody’s life. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
-We learned about the value of the “altars” in our life. Don’t forget, “If you Stray and don’t Stay, you will end up Prey in a very bad Way”!
-Don’t ever forget the things that God speaks to you by His Spirit and His Word.
-Today was the last weekend that the Living Water preaching pastor will be traveling “in person” to the OlyHigh Campus. This means that beginning next weekend there will be an increased freedom from the clock at all services. Don’t worry, we are not planning on 2 hours sermons
But we are EXPECTING AN ENCOUNTER. (Here is a link to the letter that Pastor Terry wrote describing the details of that change.)
-I love each of our Campus Pastors, Pastor Terry, Pastor Tim &Pastor Eric are blessing Jesus every week they shepherd the people God has called them to serve. I am surrounded by GREAT and GODLY people!
-Cheri and Cody did an awesome job on Sunday leading the church in -worship!
-I can see our church getting more and more hungry for God to move through them in our city! Praise Jesus for a community that CARES.
-I loved the Father’s Day video! I was totally surprised to see my own kids in it… Made me cry.
-Here’s a video to a “mini teaching” during worship about the difference between music that is focused on being “contemporary” vs “covenant“.
-More good things coming next week. Don’t miss the next message in our Ephesians series, “God’s Customized Plan For Your Life”.
Love you all!
