The worst BLOGGER ever…
I think I can almost claim the worst-blogger-ever award. It’s been almost a month since my last blog and like a true American I would now like to justify my apathy… In the last 30 days we’ve; moved into our new house, had to preach 4 weekend services with 6 hours notice, coordinated an event for 5,500 people, bought a leaf blower, built a work bench (thanks mom), and found out my wife is pregnant with our 4th little Cobler… I’m not saying that totally excuses my absence, but it’s a shot at it… I’m reading a good book called Reformission, it talks about the need for the church to maintain it’s biblical foundation while venturing boldly into our culture with the Gospel. So far, so good. I also have some more preaching assignments in the next month so I’m thinking and praying about what direction to go. Charles Lee recently turned me on to this trailer that got me thinking about the true meaning of Christmas… Well like you I’ve got a lot on my mind, I hope your thoughts are on Him as we move into an obscenely fast paced time of the year.
